Vyaya Bhava · Moksha Bhava
Twelfth House
Losses, foreign lands, hidden enemies, moksha, the bed.
The twelfth house — Vyaya Bhava — is the final dusthana but also the house of moksha (liberation). It governs losses (financial and personal), foreign lands and travel, hidden enemies, secret affairs, the bed (sleep, dreams, sexual privacy), spiritual seclusion, and ultimately the soul's release from incarnation. Many great spiritual seekers have prominent 12th-house placements — the same energy that gives loss in worldly terms gives detachment and liberation in spiritual terms. Ketu is the karaka for moksha generally.
