Divisional Charts (Vargas)
A single birth produces 16+ specialised charts in Vedic astrology. Each varga zooms into a specific life area — marriage, career, children, parents, education, karma. Together they refine what the natal chart alone can only suggest.
How to read a divisional chart
Stack with the D-1. A planet that's strong in both the natal and the divisional delivers most reliably. When D-1 promises and the relevant varga confirms, that's classical "stacking."
Check vargottama. When a planet sits in the same sign in D-1 and the divisional, it gains extra strength — the planet's surface and depth match.
Inspect the varga Lagna. Where the rising sign sits in the divisional often differs from D-1 — that's the chart revealing how that life area actually unfolds.
